Kings and Queens Competition,

The Kings and Queens Competition, or Dimanche Gras, is a key event in Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival, scheduled for Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 7:00 PM. The event also includes the finals of the National Carnival Calypso Monarch competition, showcasing top calypso artists.

J’OUVERT

J’ouvert, happening on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM (with some festivities continuing into the morning), marks the official start of Carnival. This wild and free-spirited celebration captures the essence of Carnival, embracing freedom and community.

Carnival Monday & Tuesday Parade (Mas Parade)

The Carnival Monday and Tuesday Parade begins at 8:00 AM and runs until 6:00 PM or later on both days. As the season's main event, it features masqueraders in vibrant, elaborate costumes parading through Port of Spain, dancing to the electrifying rhythms of soca and calypso. This iconic celebration is the heart of Trinidad Carnival.
